Yeo Yulan comes from the East Continent and ascended as a daoist immortal before Grid or Chreshler was born. Heaven called her up as a soldier during the rebellion of the Seven Malignant Saints, making her a survivor of the age before the world was destroyed once. At the No Offspring Tomb, she tries to stop Grid and protect what she believes can restore hell's order. She refuses killing techniques, but uses daoist arts to threaten his companions until Grid overpowers her and she retreats. (Chapters 1741–1743)
