Filewolf is a surviving intelligence of the ancient giants whose knowledge reaches Grid through a metal body and translated speech. Biography

Recurring role and later consequences

Filewolf first communicates through Grid, causing Grid to speak unfamiliar technical concepts for ten minutes without understanding the words leaving his own mouth. The scene establishes both the depth of Filewolf's knowledge and the awkward interface through which it reaches the present.
