Paul

Paul is an intermediate dokkaebi whose cruelty and rule violations connect him to the exploitation of both Peace Land and the 41st Shin Yoosung.

Biography

Abuse of scenario authority

Paul operates scenarios with a timid manner that conceals exceptional cruelty. His handling of scenario participants crosses the Bureau's own rules, and he is arrested for violating Star Stream regulations. The punishment exposes that dokkaebi authority is not lawless, even if enforcement arrives only after severe harm. (Chapters 108–110)

A target inside a reenacted story

Paul later appears through the story Kim Dokja uses when dealing with a wenny man. Kim repeatedly beats the intermediate dokkaebi within that reproduced scene, turning Paul's remembered abuse into leverage. The episode reduces an official scenario operator to an object inside someone else's Story, reversing the power he once held over incarnations. (Chapters 151 and 192)

The disaster's grudge

In the Demon Realm, Paul is identified as the dokkaebi behind the tragedy of the 41st Shin Yoosung. Biyoo reacts with anger while Kim confronts him, but other dokkaebis intervene and Paul leaves still staring at Kim. His last appearance therefore leaves punishment incomplete and the personal grievance unresolved. (Chapter 234)

Appearance and personality

Paul speaks timidly despite being described as more cruel than other dokkaebis, a mismatch that makes his politeness threatening rather than reassuring. When his remembered beating is replayed, repeated blows batter his face and replace bureaucratic composure with shock. (Chapters 108 and 192)

Abilities, attributes, and stories

Paul's meaningful power comes from intermediate-dokkaebi scenario authority; his later Story appearance demonstrates loss of control rather than a new personal technique.

Dokkaebi scenario authority

As an intermediate dokkaebi, Paul can administer scenarios, communicate through system channels, and act with Bureau-granted authority. That authority is conditional: violations can trigger arrest by the Bureau, and higher dokkaebis can restrain his actions. (Chapters 108–110 and 234)

Story-bound persistence

Paul appears inside a Story window where a past beating can be replayed and shown to others. The scene demonstrates how the Star Stream preserves his actions as narrative material, but it does not establish that Paul controls the reenactment or gains power from it. (Chapter 192)
