Lycaon Isparang
Lycaon Isparang is the first wolf of the Imyuntar, a survivor of Chronos who brings the Way of the Wind to Earth and becomes part of the fifth scenario's catastrophe system.
Biography
The wolf from Chronos
Lycaon arrives on Earth as a guide from the ruined world of Chronos and identifies himself as the great first wolf of the Imyuntar. He meets Kim Dokja and Han Sooyoung during the fifth scenario, when transformed humans and premature disasters make his purpose suspect. His conduct is bound to the scenario role imposed on the surviving species of his world rather than to simple conquest. (Chapters 79–85)
Teaching and defeat
Kim Dokja recognizes that Lycaon's greatest value is the Way of the Wind and learns from him despite their opposing positions. The technique embodies the Imyuntar's movement and control of air, but Lycaon's own fate remains that of a displaced survivor used by another world's scenario. Kim Dokja ultimately remembers him alongside the other Chronos rulers who died after their world was destroyed. (Chapters 86 and 88–94)
A legacy carried by Bookmark
Lycaon's direct life ends, but his recorded character remains usable through Kim Dokja's Bookmark. By selecting Lycaon, Kim activates a high-level Way of the Wind and turns an enclosed room into a magical storm, proving that the wolf's technique survives as actionable knowledge. Yoo Hoseong's later comments also expose the limit of that inheritance: Kim can reproduce the skill without necessarily possessing Lycaon's original mastery or talent. (Chapters 101, 172, and 361)

Lycaon is a wolf-like male being whose breathing and presence make the night around him feel still. He carries the dignity of a prince and first wolf, but his cryptic teaching style and scenario obligations make his intentions difficult for humans to read. (Chapter 79)

Imyuntar physiology and guide role
As one of Chronos's dominant species, Lycaon possesses exceptional physical ability and an affinity with wind.
