Han Donghoon

Han Donghoon, the Reclusive King of Shadows, is a teenage information specialist whose internet and communication skills remain valuable after ordinary networks collapse.

Biography

The hidden teenager

Kim Dokja discovers Han Donghoon at seventeen, already carrying a heroic hermit attribute and a sponsor called Shadow behind the Curtain. He avoids direct speech and physical attention, but his technical abilities make him central to the station's information flow. Kim Dokja recruits rather than dismisses him because the scenario has made connectivity rare. (Chapters 49–52)

Network for the survivors

Han Donghoon restores internet access to smartphones and communicates from a nearby tent rather than speaking face to face. He supports the operation against the prophets by letting Kim Dokja's group distribute information across disconnected stations. His reclusiveness becomes a tactical asset: he can work unseen while others draw attention. (Chapters 52–69)

Reunions across rounds

He later returns with Lee Gilyoung and greets Kim Dokja through a message even while standing nearby. A photograph from the 1863rd regression includes another Han Donghoon among that round's companions, but that counterpart belongs to a separate world-line and should not be treated as continuous with the main-round teenager. (Chapters 88–313)

Government communicator

In the post-scenario world, Han Donghoon works with the government and is famous for sending messages directly into opponents' vision rather than addressing them aloud. When he confronts Yoo Joonghyuk over stolen star relics, the habit shows that his early avoidance has matured into an official communication method rather than disappearing. (Chapters 430–544)

Appearance and personality

Han Donghoon is seventeen and appears wearing headphones, often positioned away from the group inside a tent or behind another creature. Even when standing in front of Kim Dokja after a reunion, he types that it is good to see him rather than saying it aloud. The same preference survives into government service, where he becomes famous for placing messages directly before an opponent's eyes. (Chapters 49–52, 99, and 544)

Abilities, attributes, and stories

Wide-area Internet

Wide-area Internet restores network access to devices within its effective area. It allows messaging and information distribution after infrastructure failure. The skill requires Han Donghoon's intervention and does not recreate every lost service or guarantee safe communications. (Chapters 49–52)

Lack of Presence

His sponsor's stigma reduces notice and supports stealth. Combined with Sound Wave Blocking, it lets him remain concealed while observing or operating devices. Strong detection and wide-area attacks can still expose him. (Chapter 49)

Digital interference

Comments Manipulation and Keyboard Attack let him alter online discourse and attack through digital interfaces, while later development allows messages to appear in a target's vision. The corpus demonstrates the applications but does not give complete range or cooldown data. (Chapters 49–60 and 544)
