A patron outside Olympus's consensus
Dionysus first enters Kim Dokja's orbit as one of the constellations interested in sponsoring him. At the Constellation Banquet, his incarnation smells of wine and carries an atmosphere of intoxication, but he also warns Kim Dokja about the danger surrounding him. His help on the road to the banquet and his candor distinguish him from Olympus's more coercive representatives. (Chapters 100, 146–168)
A witness to the company story
Although Dionysus continues to drink and banter with other constellations, he repeatedly supplies information that Kim Dokja's Company needs. He explains fractures within Olympus and attends gatherings where constellations gamble on incarnations and stories.
