Man Ou is the eyepatched manager of the Osang Family House who receives Chun Yeowun's party while secretly trying to obstruct its inquiry.

Biography

The Osang Family's False Owner

Man Ou manages the Osang Family House, an information broker supported by the Eighteen River Families. When Chun Yeowun's party requests the location of the mobile pirates, Ou receives them in a lavish room and falsely presents himself as the owner. He displays the River Families' seal and says the information is top-ranked but available if the buyers are not planning an attack on the organization's allies. (Chapter 297)

Ou already knows Yang Danwa's outpost identity and notices that the elder treats an unknown young man with exceptional respect. On the true owner's orders, he uses that observation as pressure: demanding the young man's identity should make security-conscious cultists abandon the request. Instead, Yeowun pulls one of Ou's guards through the air and exposes the deception. (Chapters 297–298)

Collapse of the Negotiation

Ou sends a telepathic warning to owner Dahing, not realizing that Yeowun can intercept the exchange. When Osang warriors break through the room walls, Ou tries to stop the escalation but is too late. He and Dahing kneel, reveal their actual positions, and attempt to survive by answering questions. (Chapters 298–299)

The arrival of River Family enforcers removes even that limited control. Yeowun kills Gar Ren and interrogates the brothers directly while Ou and Dahing watch the alliance on which their brokerage depends fail inside their own house. Their effort to avoid offending one patron has trapped them with a stronger visitor whom neither their information nor guards can manage. (Chapters 300–301)
