Status, humiliation, and manipulation of Tobi

Sonia organises parents against Minny after Tobi is injured, invoking her husband's Viscount status and the Toppy bloodline as proof that the school should obey her. When she tries to strike Quinn, he suppresses her influence and forces her down, revealing that the authority on which she relies has no power over him. Rather than reconsider the bullying that preceded Tobi's injuries, Sonia keeps Minny home as an enemy and instructs Tobi to gain the girl's trust. (Chapters 2024–2033)
