Rowa

Rowa is a former second-family leader and Royal Knight who becomes an intelligent Bloodsucker after developing a blood addiction. Feeling discarded by the vampire society he served, he shelters others like himself and attacks the tenth family, forcing the vampire king to kill him with Absolute Blood Control. (Chapters 717–729; Chapters 819–936)

Biography

From royal knight to Bloodsucker leader

Rowa rises rapidly through vampire society, relinquishes the second-family leadership, and becomes a Royal Knight whose appointment normally signifies permanent loyalty to the reigning king. His strength grows through increasing blood consumption until addiction fixes him in a Bloodsucker form. When the king orders his execution, Rowa flees and interprets that response as erasure of every sacrifice he made. (Chapters 717–718)

He builds a hidden settlement for intelligent Bloodsuckers and provides them blood and protection. A hooded ally supplies packs and asks him to destroy the tenth family; Rowa expands the mission by attacking descendants, both to weaken the target and to make the council fear an enemy it cannot locate. His grievance against vampire institutions therefore combines with another conspirator's agenda. (Chapter 718)

Assault on the tenth family

Rowa's force attacks the tenth-family castle and kills most of its defenders. He personally overwhelms Edward, destroying the mist that conceals the knight with a clap and killing him in one blow. Though Rowa claims he wants a particular girl and offers to withdraw if she is surrendered, the larger assault already demonstrates that revenge has overtaken any narrow rescue objective. (Chapters 725–727)

Leo and the remaining defenders destroy Rowa's elite followers but exhaust themselves doing so. Rowa prepares to finish them until the vampire king arrives and accepts the duel alone. The king's speed initially wounds him repeatedly; Rowa then reveals that he can return from Bloodsucker to vampire form and reverse the local time of his injuries, intending to repeat the cycle until the ageing king tires. (Chapters 725–727)

Death and family revelations

The king responds with Absolute Blood Control, gathering battlefield blood into blades large enough to erase Rowa before he can reset his wounds again. Rowa reverts to his vampire shape and appeals to their shared kind, but the king maintains that protecting humans outweighs that bond. The converging blades leave no intact body, and the text explicitly identifies the event as Rowa's death. (Chapter 728)

Later evidence reveals that Cindy, the contemporary second-family leader, is Rowa's daughter. His anger also reflects the council's failure to protect her from childhood experiments. Cindy's memories and political response reinterpret him as a father who cared when the institutions did not, but they do not undo his killings or establish that he knew every detail of her later plan. (Chapters 927 and 936)

Appearance and personality

In Bloodsucker form Rowa is an enormous, heavily muscled humanoid with sharp fangs, large enough to tower over trees and ordinary vampires. He can shrink back into the normal vampire body he had as a leader; apart from changed hair, that form resembles his former self. The corpus gives no precise height, colouring, or clothing description. (Chapters 717, 725, and 727)

He is proud, bitter, theatrical, and protective of Bloodsuckers who share his exile. Rowa wants the council to experience the fear he felt awaiting execution and speaks openly about its buried history. His appeal to the king and tears before death show that recognition and belonging remain beneath the revenge, even after his choices make reconciliation impossible. (Chapters 717–718 and 727–728)

Powers and abilities

Bloodsucker physiology

Rowa's permanent Bloodsucker form approximately doubles already leader-class physical attributes. He moves too quickly for Silver to follow, jumps roughly thirty metres, creates damaging air pressure without direct contact, destroys Edward's mist with a clap, and kills a vampire knight in one strike. He retains intelligence unlike a starved feral Bloodsucker. (Chapters 717–718 and 725–727)

The form has lower vitality than a normal vampire and cannot use ordinary blood attacks. Rowa compensates with strength and the ability to switch back to vampire form. Superior speed and repeated wounds from the king still bring him close to defeat before he invokes his family ability. (Chapters 717 and 727)

Local time reversal

As a former second-family leader, Rowa can reverse time within a small area. He surrounds himself with a bubble and returns his wounded body to an earlier, unharmed state without drinking blood, then changes back into Bloodsucker form. This reverses damage rather than conventional healing. (Chapter 727)

The ability requires a chance to activate and cannot save him from instantaneous overwhelming destruction. The king therefore commits enough blood power to annihilate Rowa in one combined strike. The corpus does not state the bubble's radius, temporal reach, number of uses, or exact energy cost. (Chapters 727–728)

Vampire leadership and infiltration

Rowa organises intelligent Bloodsuckers, hides a community behind a waterfall, obtains blood supplies, and gathers information about council movements. His knowledge comes partly from an unidentified collaborator, so the corpus does not credit every infiltration or plan to Rowa alone. (Chapter 718; Chapters 729 and 833)

Relationships

• Cindy: Cindy is Rowa's daughter and eventual successor as second-family leader. Later revelations frame his hatred of the council partly through its abuse of her.
• The vampire king: Rowa once served the king as a Royal Knight, then blames him for persecution. Their final duel ends with the king sacrificing much of his remaining strength to kill him.
• Edward: Rowa respects Edward's loyalty to Vincent but kills him when he refuses to surrender a student.
• Leo: Leo destroys Rowa's elite followers and protects the students, but is too exhausted to face Rowa before the king arrives.
• Silver: Rowa explains the Bloodsuckers' suppressed history to Silver and demonstrates how completely he outclasses her.
