The Kun-Qian Bone Hand is a ghastly white human hand bone that awakens as Ou Shangtian's companion artifact and later fuses indistinguishably with his arm. It can reverse a destructive physical change, resonate with the Ancient True Immortal character, and grow dark-red True Immortal flesh, but its strongest later use damages both artifact and bearer.

History

Awakening beside Ou Shangtian

The Bone Hand awakens when Mount Guiyuan collapses and Ou Shangtian faces death. It reverses yin and yang or heaven and earth so that the fallen mountain reforms, saving him. Ou Daozi treats it as one of Ou Shangtian's paired companion treasures, while Li Fan cautiously assesses the bone as close to a wonder of heaven and possibly immortal in origin. (Chapters 835–836)

Together with Ou Shangtian's other companion treasure, it helps a cultivator below Nascent Soul survive months of pursuit. Rumors connect such relics to byproducts left by a True Immortal remnant, but the early text presents that origin as report and inference rather than a confirmed manufacturing history. Ou Shangtian retains the hand when Li Ping takes him as a disciple. (Chapters 1106 and 1161)

Embodied fusion and True Immortal resonance

By Chapter 1315 the bone has fully merged into Ou Shangtian's arm and is visually indistinguishable from his body. It remains gestating and connected to Heavenly Dao. When Li Fan applies the Ancient character to the sleeping bearer, the hand absorbs or redirects the effect away from Ou Shangtian's ordinary body and sprouts dark-red True Immortal flesh. (Chapters 1315 and 1323–1324)

Li Fan then contaminates or downgrades the growth with source power and repeatedly harvests flesh for Ascension experiments. The process leaves Ou Shangtian barely alive and cracks the Bone Hand, which must recover and cannot supply an unlimited quantity. Later visions again use the bearer and his treasure-body state as research material, but do not establish that Li Fan ever acquired legitimate ownership of the embodied relic. Before complete fusion, the relic is a ghastly white human hand bone. It subsequently becomes Ou Shangtian's arm so completely that no external boundary is visible. Under stimulation from the Ancient character it produces dark-red True Immortal flesh, changing its role from protective companion artifact to a dangerous source of research material. (Chapters 835–836, 1315, and 1324)

Abilities and limitations

Reversal of heaven and earth

At its awakening the hand reverses the catastrophic change at Mount Guiyuan, reforming a collapsed mountain and saving Ou Shangtian. The text does not demonstrate unrestricted global time reversal: the feat is tied to a specific life-threatening event, its companion bearer, and the artifact's reversal of the local physical outcome. (Chapter 835)

Embodied companion fusion

The relic fuses into Ou Shangtian's body, assists his survival, and can receive an effect aimed at him. This bodily integration makes the bearer more than a conventional wielder and prevents casual changes of ownership. It also means damage to the relic and exploitation of its output directly endanger Ou Shangtian. (Chapters 1106, 1250, 1315, and 1324)

True Immortal resonance

The Bone Hand responds to the Ancient True Immortal character and grows flesh with True Immortal qualities. Source power can alter or reduce that flesh for experiments, but repeated harvesting cracks the hand and produces too little material for Li Fan's needs. The ability therefore requires rare external stimulation and has finite, harmful output. (Chapters 1324–1332)

Custody and users

  • Ou Shangtian: Awakened companion, inseparable bearer, and embodied custodian. The hand becomes part of his arm, making his agency and bodily safety central to any use. (Chapters 835 and 1315)
  • Ou Daozi: Knows and reports the companion treasures but is not shown owning or wielding the hand. (Chapter 835)
  • Li Ping: Becomes Ou Shangtian's master and may direct missions; discipleship does not transfer ownership of the fused artifact. (Chapters 1161 and 1250)
  • Li Fan: Studies, stimulates, and harvests the relic in later experiments. This is coercive research access to Ou Shangtian's embodied treasure, not a documented permanent transfer. (Chapters 1323–1332)
