Black Friday

Black Friday is notable because it serves the following role: a recurring scenario soundtrack and emergency psychological weapon from the first black-phone missions. Its importance comes from demonstrated use and custody rather than an assumed artifact rank.

History

Black Friday manifests as an early normal-mission reward and becomes the attraction’s signature supernatural recording. Chen uses it first to intensify staged fear, then discovers that its oppressive sound can disorient intruders and create an opening during real danger. (Chapters 2, 7–12, 27–30)

Abilities and properties

• Creates extreme dread and depressive pressure when played. (Chapters 7–12)
• Functions as scenario music and as an emergency psychological distraction. (Chapters 27–30, 50, 95, 190, 218)
• It affects listeners through sound, so playback equipment and audible range remain practical limits.

Ownership and custody
