Zhu Long
Zhu Long is a murdered young man living as a western-campus student after the School of the Afterlife suppresses his past. Following Chen Ge leads him back to the autopsy room where his body was used, and recovering that memory restores both his supernatural power and his freedom to choose whom he supports.
Biography
A promise rewritten as murder
Zhu Long joins Chen Ge's supernatural phenomenon observation club with the posture of a tough student whose past includes juvenile detention. A scar left by removing a girl's name from his arm and a missing stretch of memory undermine that persona. While telling a story about a boy who reaches his beloved's medical university as a corpse on her autopsy table, Zhu unconsciously describes the buried shape of his own death. (Chapters 795–800)
In the school's autopsy room, Zhu finds his name repeatedly carved beneath an operating table and reacts with terror his conscious mind cannot explain. Messages and photographs on Lin Sisi's pink phone restore the name Gao Jie and the truth of an abusive relationship that ended in Zhu's murder. Chen Ge gives him the phone and refuses to treat harm committed in the name of love as acceptable, helping Zhu recover his identity without blaming him for his victimization. (Chapters 801–804, 824)
Awakening and defense of the school
The recovered memory first reveals Zhu as a Half Red Specter. He enters the school's blood-red side through the library mirror, survives an ambush with his fellow club member, and gradually regains his complete Red Specter power. During the final crisis, he and the other awakened students protect weaker residents from the blood storm, then fight beside Chen Ge against the Painter's forces. (Chapters 824, 833–834, 850, 891–893)
When Zhou Tu and Wang Yicheng return to the Painter, Zhu and his closest fighting companion make the opposite decision. They remember that Chen Ge helped them recover their lives and reject the Painter's imposed paradise, even after Chen Ge's supposed trump card is exposed as a deception. Once the battle ends, Zhu stays behind with the school's remaining seniors to help defend the students and support the old headmaster's administration. (Chapters 900–907)
Appearance and personality
Zhu Long is a tall young man, about 1.83 metres, with a fashionable but rough-edged appearance and a scar where he cut away a tattooed name. He presents himself as bold and accustomed to fights, yet his disorientation around the autopsy room exposes profound fear. After learning the truth, his toughness becomes protective loyalty rather than a mask for missing memory. (Chapters 795–804)
Skills and supernatural abilities
Even under suppression, Zhu possesses unusual physical strength and can overturn a metal operating table by force. Restored as a Red Specter, he fights directly, withstands the blood storm, protects students, and helps consume an attacking Red Specter after an ambush. No specialized named technique is established; his demonstrated strengths are force, endurance, and close combat. (Chapters 801–802, 824, 891–893)

Relationships
Chen Ge recruits Zhu into the club, returns his memory, and earns his loyalty by treating him as a wronged person rather than a useful monster. Gao Jie is the former romantic partner whose manipulation and violence culminated in his murder. Zhou Tu and Wang Yicheng share his journey but ultimately choose the Painter; Zhu rejects that choice and stays aligned with the students who resist the manufactured paradise. Items
Lin Sisi's pink phone is found beneath the autopsy table and contains messages and images tied to Zhu's erased relationship. Chen Ge places it in Zhu's hands so he can recover the truth, making it a temporary memory key in Zhu's custody rather than an item he originally owns. (Chapters 801–804)
