Wei Wu

Wei Wu, whose real name is Zhang Wu, is a Ghost Stories Society member sent into the House of Horrors under a false identity. He poses as an ordinary visitor beside Kong Xiangming while preparing to attack Chen Ge and the medical students.

Biography

Failed infiltration of Mu Yang High School

Wei Wu enters the attraction with Kong Xiangming, keeping a low profile until the students separate from safer routes. Their mission takes priority over clearing the scenario, and Wei reveals the blood face attached to the back of his head when he believes the visitors can be eliminated without witnesses. The exhausted students mistake him for an actor, while Chen Ge recognizes the Society connection and pursues him through the mannequins. Wei abandons Kong to save himself, but Xu Yin tears out the blood face and Chen captures him. With the possessing spirit gone, he wakes mentally impaired and is delivered to Captain Yan; police identify him as thirty-six-year-old pharmaceutical worker Zhang Wu and investigate storage rooms rented under false names. Appearance and personality

Wei Wu is a normal-looking middle-aged man who relies on being forgettable. He is deceptive, cautious, selfish, and afraid of both the Society's chairperson and Chen Ge. His willingness to abandon Kong once the fight turns against them shows that their cooperation is based on survival, not loyalty. (Chapters 259–273)

Skills and supernatural abilities

The blood face attached behind Wei Wu's head can imitate another face and interfere with a matching spirit or mannequin, making it useful for control and deception rather than direct combat. The power belongs to the attached entity; once Xu Yin tears it free and destroys it, Wei loses access and suffers severe mental damage. (Chapters 260, 266–271)
