Biography

The Missing Wife investigation

Liu Xianxian first visits the House of Horrors with Ma Yin and three other students, laughing at scares that unsettle her companions. She later confides to Chen Ge that the widower she loves behaves as if his dead wife is still alive. While Chen investigates that connection, Liu accompanies Ma Yin into a forbidden university storeroom to find a legendary weeping statue. Their search exposes evidence linked to Ma Yin's missing sister and gives Chen another route toward the society member behind the case. (Chapters 374–390)

Liu is a tall college-age woman who wears a faded perfume and puts careful effort into her appearance before meeting the man she loves.
