Jiang Xiaohu is Jiang Long's son and Xiao Bu's former classmate. He is the only known surviving member of his immediate household after the shadow's actions tore the family apart.

Biography

The surviving witness

Jiang Xiaohu was pressured into dangerous behavior by his family, beaten by Jiang Long, and repeatedly evaluated for mental illness. Years later, Chen Ge interviews him at Jiujiang Mental Asylum and learns that Jiang Long seemed to become another person after his shadow awakened, while Jiang Xiaohu's sister disappeared after trying to expose the family's secrets. Although fearful and guarded, Jiang Xiaohu gives Chen enough information to connect his father's Li Wan home, Xiao Bu, and the Ming Yang Residence door. (Chapters 528–533, 549)

Appearance and personality

He is a traumatized boy who initially reacts to Chen Ge with animal-like fear and physical agitation. Once the room is cleared and he is allowed to speak privately, he proves observant, coherent, and more mature than his age suggests, though he still withholds parts of what happened. Skills and supernatural abilities

Jiang Xiaohu can sense Xu Yin's presence and recognizes that his father's shadow had become abnormal. No supernatural rank or controllable ability is confirmed; his most important contribution is his memory of the Jiang family's collapse. (Chapters 532–533)
