Brother Feng

Brother Feng is the senior figure in a seven-person group of forensic students who enter Murder by Midnight to avenge He San's earlier humiliation. His confidence makes him the group's organizer and one of the mirror monster's principal targets.

Biography

Revenge challenge in Murder by Midnight

Brother Feng brings six classmates into Chen Ge's attraction intending to clear it decisively and restore the students' pride after He San faints there. He tries to keep seven frightened visitors coordinated, but Doctor Skull-Cracker, moving mannequins, and the broken mirror steadily split the formation. When the mirror monster attacks, Feng resists with a wooden chair instead of immediately collapsing, showing greater physical and mental tolerance than most of the group. He survives and later returns to Chen, interpreting the experience as an extreme psychological stimulus rather than admitting a supernatural encounter. (Chapters 29–38)

Appearance and personality

Brother Feng is confident, group-minded, and protective of his standing among the students. Fear gradually strips away his initial bravado, but he retains enough composure to fight back and to construct a rational explanation afterward. His leadership is genuine even though the attraction proves too chaotic for him to maintain control. (Chapters 29–38)

Skills and supernatural abilities

Brother Feng has no supernatural power. His forensic-student training, stronger constitution, and relatively high tolerance for fear help him respond physically to the mirror monster, but they do not let him understand or defeat it. (Chapters 29–38)
