Shaenita
Shaenita is the Queen of Oz, initially misrepresented as an evil usurper by Snow White and later revealed as the ruler trying to contain the princess's threat. (Chapters 287–289 and 323–326)
Biography
Thunderstorm Castle and the Chaos Realm
Shaenita first enters the party's story as the target of Snow White's claim that a wicked stepmother murdered the king. By the time Zhang Yang's group reaches her garden, they have destroyed the Mirror of Truth that kept Snow White's power in check. Shaenita exposes the deception and asks the party to atone, but Snow White's Violet-Platinum transformation overwhelms the Yellow-Gold queen and kills her maids until Zhang Yang summons Smaug's shadow. After Snow White dies, Shaenita accepts the party's correction of its mistake. She later helps Zhang Yang investigate Lagguda, acknowledges that she neglected earlier disappearances, uses magic to restore a witness from a box, and lends him the Mirror of Truth for ten days. (Chapters 287–289 and 323–326)
Appearance and personality
Shaenita is a tall, slender woman with pale skin and a royal bearing, first seen in black clothing while reading in the palace garden. She can be severe when confronting Snow White, but also admits her own failure to investigate Lagguda and keeps her bargain with Zhang Yang. Her initial anger toward the party gives way once they eliminate the threat they released. (Chapters 287–289 and 323–326)
Abilities and gameplay
Shaenita is a Yellow-Gold humanoid boss who carries a dark magic staff and commands four Elite-tier maids. Her attempted spell against Snow White fails once the Mirror of Truth has been destroyed, and Snow White's superior tier leaves her near death after the maids fall. Later, Shaenita chants over a box for several minutes and projects or restores a man's face from it. The exact spell mechanism, resource cost, and combat repertoire are not given.
