Megatron

Megatron is a gigantic mechanical Decepticon whom Culonca revives and controls with an Energy Crystal. His recovery and use of the Allspark turn the quest into a prolonged mechanical boss battle against Zhang Yang. (Chapters 381–386)

Biography

Thunderstorm Castle and the Chaos Realm

Culonca sends Zhang Yang to revive the deactivated Megatron, then reveals that he learned how to control mechanical servants and used a spell on the fallen Decepticon. Megatron strikes Culonca but remains a continuing threat: after mechanical servants combine into the Devastator and are defeated, the Allspark repairs Megatron's damaged eye and body and lets him create ordinary mechanical minions. Zhang Yang ultimately fights through the renewed defense and repeated firearm charges to defeat him. (Chapters 381–386)

Appearance and personality

Megatron is an enormous mechanical lifeform whose scale makes him visible even when moving far ahead of his pursuers. His body bears scars and a damaged eye before the Allspark repairs both. The corpus presents him chiefly through violent, relentless attacks and does not establish an independent personality beyond his condition as a controlled Decepticon. (Chapters 381–382 and 385–386)

Abilities and gameplay

Megatron moves extremely quickly, can deliver heavy attacks, and uses a Magic Firearm that must charge before firing. The Allspark can create mechanical minions and restore his body and defense; after his repair, his defense returns to 3,000 while the firearm begins charging again, extending the encounter unless Zhang Yang finishes him quickly. (Chapters 381, 385–386)

• Culonca: Culonca revives and magically controls Megatron, intending to use him to pursue the Allspark; Megatron later inflicts the near-fatal blow that leaves Culonca at death's edge. (Chapters 381–383)
