Julio is the Public Safety Officer on the Island of the Sacred One who sends Zhang Yang to kill the Naga king Cynapor. His professed concern for Madran's followers masks a desire to claim the victory and gain privileged access to Marvados. (Chapters 417–420)

Biography

Thunderstorm Castle and the Chaos Realm

Julio receives Zhang Yang's report of an attack on Madran's followers and angrily orders him to invade the undersea Naga lair alone. When Zhang returns with Cynapor's head, Julio cancels the promised reward, claims the kill as his own, and uses the trophy to request an audience with Marvados. Zhang's party follows him through the barrier he opens. Julio attacks to preserve exclusive credit and access, but the party quickly kills the comparatively weak Yellow-Gold boss; his actions nevertheless expose the secret passage leading toward Marvados's sacrifices. (Chapters 417–420)

Appearance and personality

Julio is tall and powerfully built beneath heavy armor, with a stoic expression that turns to rage when he hears about the Naga. His official severity is partly performance: once he sees Cynapor's head, he laughs manically about advancement before restoring his stern manner. He is authoritarian, credit-seeking, obsequious toward Marvados, and unwilling to share access with the adventurers who did the work. (Chapters 417 and 419)

Abilities and gameplay

Julio's visible profile lists Level 95, 1,900,000 HP, and 1,700 Defense. He fights with a sword after dismounting, but no named skill, attack range, or special defense is shown. His Yellow-Gold tier makes him a short encounter for Zhang Yang's party, especially compared with Marvados despite both being bosses in the same quest line. (Chapters 417, 419, and 421)

Relationships

  • Zhang Yang: Julio uses him to kill Cynapor, withholds the promised reward, and tries to bar him from Marvados. Zhang follows and kills him. (Chapters 417–419)
  • Madran and Marvados: Julio presents himself as a loyal servant of the Sacred One and seeks Marvados's approval, but the cult's deeper sacrifice operation shows what his loyalty supports. (Chapters 419–420)
