Biography

Lone Desert Smoke and Soaring Swords

A dwarf first directs Zhang Yang to warn Anthony Faylon of impending disaster, making the Grand Magus the capital endpoint of the opening main quest. Much later Zhang returns with evidence that the undead are planning in secret. Faylon paces in visible concern, thanks him for the advance warning, and states that the alliance can now prepare instead of being surprised. He remains at the top of the Magician Tower thereafter, where Zhang seeks him again while Faylon studies spells. The sparse scenes establish continued institutional responsibility but do not show the resulting mobilization or a battle personally led by him. (Chapters 11–12, 157–159, and 581)

Appearance and personality

Faylon has two white eyebrows and is first found in the central Magician Tower. He reacts to strategic danger with anxious pacing and a furrowed brow, then addresses Zhang Yang formally and gratefully. His later study at the tower supports a scholarly magical role, but the corpus does not describe his clothing, age, or broader private personality. (Chapters 12, 159, and 581)

Abilities and gameplay

Faylon is explicitly a God-class boss and the strongest mage in White Jade Castle. No statistics, named spell, range, cost, or personal combat demonstration is supplied.
