Chalvos
Chalvos, the King of the Mountain Giant, is the Gray-Silver Elemental boss whose defeat becomes a proving ground for Crimson Rage. Its repeated area attacks require disciplined positioning and healing from the raid. (Chapters 132–136 and 145)
Biography
Rebirth and White Jade City
Crimson Rage engages Chalvos at Bison's Hill after suffering repeated annihilations while learning the fight. Zhang Yang joins the effort and helps compensate for weaknesses in the guild's main-tank setup. The raid survives further area-attack cycles, kills Chalvos, and lets Snow Seeker distribute the loot. The victory strengthens Crimson Rage's standing enough that later narration treats it as an important step in the guild's ability to compete. (Chapters 132–136 and 145)
Appearance and personality
Chalvos is identified as a mountain giant and Elemental Being, but the corpus supplies no detailed description of its face, material, clothing, or voice. No dialogue or motive is recorded, so the evidence supports an encounter role rather than a developed personality. (Chapter 132)
Abilities and gameplay
Chalvos uses Collapse about once per minute and an area Shockwave with a thirty-five-meter range. Ranged attackers must move within range to strike, while repeated attack cycles can annihilate entire damage groups; survival therefore depends on movement, tank stability, and the raid's unusually well-equipped Sacred Knights. (Chapters 133–135)
Relationships
- Snow Seeker: Leads the Crimson Rage group and distributes Chalvos's loot after the kill. (Chapters 132–135)
- Zhang Yang: Assists the raid in overcoming a boss that had repeatedly wiped Crimson Rage. (Chapters 133–136)
- Perfumed Water: A Crimson Rage core player associated with the guild in the later aftermath of the Chalvos victory. (Chapters 145 and 173)
Items
Chalvos drops raid loot after defeat, and Snow Seeker distributes each item through Leader Distribution Mode. The supplied evidence does not identify the individual pieces clearly enough to list them by name. (Chapter 135)
