Trollseeker Marble
History
Sungjin buys his first marble from the Hidden Merchant for 10,000 Black Coins after seeking a way to intervene in other raid dimensions. Once the tool proves effective, he buys additional copies until he carries five, repeatedly paying to recharge them between raids. The marbles turn troll hunting into a sustained campaign of cross-dimensional intervention, resource recovery, and recruitment before the surviving population becomes too small for eligible targets to appear reliably. (Chapters 54, 61, 67, 79, 93, 115, and 141–142)
Abilities and properties
The marble's named form is Tribyre, and its Pursuit of Justice ability requests transfer to a raid dimension where a troll is active. Each marble stores one charge and costs 1,000 Black Coins to recharge after use. Transfer still depends on system conditions: the Operator can delay it until reward distribution, reject it when no applicable dimension exists, or complete it after a countdown when a target becomes available. (Chapters 54, 61, 106, 125, 141–142, and 147)
Ownership and custody
The Hidden Merchant sells and recharges the marbles, while Sungjin owns, carries, and activates them. He expands the set from one to three and then five, trading immediate purchases of other equipment for more opportunities to enter endangered dimensions. After Darker than Black disappears, the existing marbles remain with him, but the lack of a merchant and the dwindling number of active trolls limit their continuing usefulness. (Chapters 54, 67, 79, 93, 115, 137, 169, and 180)
