Star of the Nameless
History
The Hidden Merchant reveals the Star when Sungjin realizes that keeping Adjudicator active for troll hunting would deny him the benefits of other titles. Its 20,000-coin price delays the purchase while Sungjin invests in additional Trollseeker Marbles and magic, but after later auction sales he finally buys it together with Gourmet's Monocle. It then becomes part of his standard preparation for each raid. (Chapters 54–55, 67, 79–80, and 93–95)
Abilities and properties
The amulet's Rename ability changes the user's active title and has a ten-minute cooldown. Sungjin uses it to move among Master Hunter for general combat, Treasure Hunter for hidden elements, and Adjudicator for hunting hostile Hunters; he also selects specialized titles when circumstances warrant them. The Star changes which existing title is active rather than creating titles or removing the requirements attached to their abilities. (Chapters 55, 94–95, 107, 141, and 155–156)
Ownership and custody
The Hidden Merchant displays and retains the Star until Sungjin can pay its high Black Coin price. After the Chapter 9 shopping period, Sungjin owns and carries it, taking it from storage whenever he needs to rename his active title. It remains in his custody after the merchant's shop disappears and continues to support his late-raid tactical changes. (Chapters 55, 67, 93–95, 141, and 155–156)
