Heart of Gold

History

Sungjin purchases Heart of Gold from Meridian's jewelry shop for five hundred Black Coins immediately after the first raid. He chooses it as his first major investment because his knowledge of later rewards lets him recover the cost through repeated clears, even though buying a noncombat ring so early would endanger an ordinary Hunter. (Chapter 7)

Abilities and properties

The ring's Collect Interest passive adds ten percent to the Black Coins awarded at the end of a raid. It supplies no direct attack, defense, or survival benefit, but its recurring bonus helps Sungjin afford later purchases and is visibly applied during reward distributions. The ring itself is simple, with a single blue sapphire. (Chapters 7–9, 13, and 29)

Ownership and custody

Meridian sells the ring directly to Sungjin, and the system equips it on his finger. He retains it as a long-term economic tool; later, he recommends the same Ring of the Rich strategy to a Chosen One so the ring's bonus can offset that person's coin penalty. (Chapters 7, 92–93, and 141)
