El'tarim

History

El'tarim appears only while Sungjin observes the failed timeline through Ever Dream. Edward asks his Operator Cube for the item during a pause in the final party's advance, invokes Starlight, and then shows the troubled expression Sungjin remembers from shortly before the betrayal. (Chapter 167)

Abilities and properties

The accessory is a blue, star-cut gem with cloud-like images moving inside it, made from the same rare sky-gem material associated with the Ring of the Great Sage. Starlight produces a brief glow invisible or unnoticed by the surrounding Hunters; its exact status text, viewing interval, and cooldown are not shown. Later evidence from the related but separate Ios supports a future-viewing interpretation, without proving that El'tarim has identical limits. (Chapters 167 and 174–177)

Ownership and custody

El'tarim belongs to Edward, who retrieves it from his own Operator Cube and returns it there after use. Sungjin never possesses this object: the star accessory Kargos later makes for him is Ios, a distinct item with its own name and stated twenty-four-hour Starlight effect. The shared material and skill name do not merge their custody or identities. (Chapters 167 and 174–177)
