Artemio

History

Sungjin receives Artemio after the Gladiator's Colosseum raid, where it had been the anti-magic sword of Calian. He makes it one of his principal blades and continues using it after Ariane the Dragon breaks it, because the raid system restores the weapon once the encounter ends. Kargos later reforges it as a Unique Legendary weapon. (Chapters 73–75, 81, 85, 91, 94, 97–98, 104–105, 109, 111–112, and 115–116)

Abilities and properties

Before enhancement, the Legendary scimitar reduces incoming spell damage and reflects magic below the sixth circle. After Kargos's work, it has Strength SS and Dexterity S: Spell Eater III reduces spell damage by thirty percent; Mana Burn I removes ten percent of the target's remaining mana on each hit and inflicts equal damage; Absorb Magic VII can store an offensive spell below the seventh class once per ten minutes; and Expel Magic VII can discharge the stored spell up to three times before its own ten-minute cooldown. Its reaction to Archae'ard's ice spear nevertheless shows that the blade is not an unlimited answer to stronger magic. (Chapters 73–74, 97–98, 104–105, 109, 115–116, 120, 152–154, and 156–158)

Ownership and custody

The sword passes from Calian's raid reward pool to Sungjin and remains with him through its temporary destruction, automatic restoration, and later upgrade. Kargos handles it as a craftsman but returns it, and Sungjin continues to carry and wield Artemio alongside his other swords.
