Personality

Shigetoki welcomes a difficult raid rather than shrinking from it. He takes pride in disciplined martial skill and expects other Hunters to fulfill the responsibilities of their roles, which makes him particularly impatient with Weiden Peller's complaints about tanking. (Chapters 56–57)

Shigetoki enters the Tahrakhan Plateau raid as the party's Pugilist, advancing with Hunters whose histories and intentions he does not know. His willingness to meet the mounted-warrior stage head-on, and his criticism of the group's defensive complaints, establish him as a capable participant who believes temporary cooperation should still demand discipline from everyone involved.
