Nada

Appearance

Nada is a tall, lean Spanish woman with long legs, flawless skin, and a notably curvaceous build. Her hair is described as pale blonde during the Magician's Ivory Tower raid, although a later breakfast scene calls her wet hair brown. She normally fights in leather armor, carrying a staff in one hand and a dagger or paired daggers for close combat. (Chapters 88, 121, 142, 173)

Personality

Nada combines warmth toward trusted companions with hard-earned caution toward strangers. She is direct, unsentimental about danger, and unwilling to surrender her judgment merely because another hunter is stronger. Her suspicion of Sungjin at their first meeting follows an attempted betrayal by her own party and his alarming conduct; later cooperation grows from what she observes and chooses, rather than from instant deference to his prior knowledge of her. (Chapters 88–90, 109, 117–121)

She is practical about survival and resources. Nada seeks hidden objectives, asks for assistance when a party is genuinely endangered, and arranges equipment exchanges that improve the whole group without giving up her own interests. She can hesitate before an unfamiliar threat or overestimate the need for backup, but she responds to evidence, completes difficult fights without rescue, and becomes a leader whom ordinary hunters follow. (Chapters 118, 122, 131, 135–142, 149, 164, 173–180)

Biography

The Magician's Ivory Tower encounter

At the Magician's Ivory Tower, Nada is already carrying more of the raid than her teammates: she identifies the hidden-boss ritual, directs the placement of the required corpses, and holds roughly half of the party's contribution. Three male hunters decide to kill her for those points and discuss sexually assaulting her first. When their betrayal becomes open, she survives by combining illusions, acrobatic dagger work, and close control of the battlefield rather than waiting for rescue. (Chapter 88)

Sungjin arrives while two surviving trolls are attacking Nada, but his intervention does not give him authority over her. She reanimates a fallen samurai as an undead combatant, empowers it with black magic, and remains ready to order it against the unknown intruder. Her hostility is grounded in the immediate facts: her party has just conspired against her, Sungjin can cross dimensions, and Besgoro causes Sungjin to make a degrading verbal blunder while staring at her. (Chapters 88–89)

As the return timer runs down, Sungjin uses the Eye of Jeremiah to read Nada's thoughts and offers the Holy Water of Baptism. Nada does not reject proof or assistance; she reasonably asks him to hand over the unknown substance so she can apply it herself. When her mana runs out and her undead samurai collapses, Sungjin exploits that weakness, overpowers her resistance, pins her down, and applies Baptism by force. (Chapter 90)

The title grants Nada additional strength and a way to request Sungjin's intervention, but it does not make her consent retroactive or turn her immediately into a follower. She curses him, orders him out of her sight, and returns to the Hunter's Hall still furious. The encounter therefore establishes both her value as a future ally and the serious breach Sungjin must live with: Nada has demonstrated skill and judgment, while he has damaged trust by substituting his fear of losing her for her present choice. (Chapter 90)

Independent Chosen One

Nada first uses the Chosen One's request after her dragon-raid party loses its tanks and is close to destruction. The call is a tactical decision, not passive dependence: she has kept five hunters alive, joins the counterattack with Weakness, and tells Sungjin that her group can handle the remaining ordinary enemies once Khal Gal falls. Only after observing his repeated efforts to help and considering the previous encounter overnight does she accept that he had reasons, beginning a working relationship on evidence she has assessed herself. (Chapters 108–109)

At dinners and briefings, Nada becomes a peer rather than an accessory to Sungjin's plan. She questions whether enough strong and trustworthy survivors exist, agrees to identify candidates, explains the specialization of magic titles to Serin Han, and carries detailed intelligence back to her own parties. When Sungjin declines her cautious request for help against a Frostplains hidden boss, she follows the useful part of his advice, defeats it independently, and reports that the fight was easier than expected. (Chapters 118, 121–122, 131, 135)

Her leadership becomes visible in the Greenskin Fortress. Nada reads the Treasure Hunter clue, finds the concealed route, organizes her party before the hidden boss, casts protection over the group, and leads the descent. When the frenzied orcs exceed expectations, Mahadas creates an opening, but Nada immediately converts it into control with Graves Call, Weakness, precise dagger strikes, and an empowered undead summon called Domingo. She then judges Mahadas's selfless conduct favorably instead of claiming the victory as hers alone. (Chapters 140–143)

Nada also strengthens the Chosen Ones through choices Sungjin does not direct. She builds a reciprocal trading relationship with Serin, loans her a needed bow on flexible repayment terms, requests a copy of Mar'baht for her own armor upgrade, and continues to decide when an intervention is warranted. Her later calls follow concrete needs: a party has lost a member before a major engagement, she recognizes Mustafa as a recruitment candidate, or Watanabe Hiroaki is trapped in a hostile dream. By the final supplied chapter, her selective judgment, hybrid combat, and practical loyalty make her a dependable partner with authority of her own. (Chapters 135–136, 149, 164, 173–174, 179–180)

Chosen One90Gains twenty percent of Sungjin's active attributes and an emergency summons through a forced Baptism; the power does not erase the violation of her consent.

Relationships

  • Sungjin remembers Nada as a warm and dependable companion from the failed timeline, but his memory does not define her present relationship with him. His forced Baptism gives her justified reason to distrust him. Nada later evaluates his actions, uses his help selectively, challenges his decisions, and works with him as a recruiter and combat peer rather than offering unconditional obedience. (Chapters 88–90, 109, 117–121, 131–149)

  • Serin Han becomes Nada's friend and reciprocal trading partner. Nada answers Serin's question about magical specialization, provides a duplicate bow before full payment is possible, and expects access to useful magical equipment in return. Their arrangement shows a relationship developing directly between Chosen Ones rather than being mediated by Sungjin. (Chapters 121, 135–136, 144)

  • Mahadas earns Nada's respect when he abandons his own position to rescue her and other endangered hunters in the Greenskin Fortress. She recognizes both his skill and selflessness, supports his recruitment, and finishes the raid in the same party after he becomes a Chosen One. (Chapters 142–143)

  • Domingo is Nada's recurring zombie summon. She names it after a former classmate she disliked, commands it to bite and distract enemies, shields it with Dark Shield, and strengthens it with Frenzy. The text establishes Domingo as an undead servant used through her necromancy; it does not establish that the summon is the former classmate's corpse or an independently personified companion. (Chapters 122, 140, 142)

Skills and abilities

  • Black magic: Nada's main magical discipline includes Illusion, Rise of the Dead, Decay of Death, Dark Shield, Graves Call, Weakness, and Frenzy. Together these spells create decoys, animate corpses, damage enemies, protect allies, restrain targets, reduce physical performance, and empower undead. Her casting is versatile, but her summons can collapse when her mana is exhausted. (Chapters 88–90, 109, 140, 142)

  • Dagger and staff combat: Nada is an accomplished close-range fighter as well as a caster. She evades heavy weapons acrobatically, severs fingers and hands with precise cuts, blocks with her staff, dual-wields daggers when appropriate, and kills enemies held by her restraint magic. The combination lets her keep fighting while casting and makes her dangerous even before her undead support is considered. (Chapters 88–90, 117, 121–122, 140–142, 179)

  • Necromancy and summon control: Nada can raise skilled corpses and coordinate undead with her own attacks. The Zombie Samurai retains combat ability after reanimation, while Domingo serves as a recurring distraction and can receive protective or empowering spells. These summons remain tactical extensions of her magic rather than invulnerable allies: one collapses with her depleted mana, and stronger enemies can tear Domingo apart. (Chapters 89–90, 122, 140, 142)

  • Treasure hunting and raid leadership: The Treasure Hunter title helps Nada pursue hidden objectives, and she repeatedly turns clues or advance intelligence into party instructions. She directs the Chimera ritual, locates the loose-brick passage in the Greenskin Fortress, briefs hunters before dangerous engagements, and identifies a described recruit when she encounters him. Her leadership is practical and field-tested rather than ceremonial. (Chapters 88–89, 118, 122, 140–142, 173–174)

  • Chosen One: Baptism gives Nada twenty percent of Sungjin's statistics and one daily request for his teleportation. The bonus improves her survival prospects, but the title's most important limitation is personal judgment: a request can be refused or delayed, and Nada still has to decide when aid is necessary, lead her own party, and complete battles without relying on Sungjin's presence. (Chapters 90, 109, 121–142, 164, 173–180)

Equipment

  • Nada's dagger and staff support her hybrid style. She blocks and casts with the staff while using one or two daggers for rapid, precise attacks at close range. (Chapters 88–90, 117, 121–122, 140–142, 179)

  • Cerberos, the Gatekeeper of Hell, is the three-headed staff awarded to Nada after the Magician's Ivory Tower hidden-boss raid. She later carries it during the dragon raid while asserting that her surviving party can clear ordinary enemies without further help. (Chapters 89, 109)

  • Chimerao, the Ring of Fused Beasts, is among Nada's rewards for completing the Terrible Chimera encounter with full surviving contribution after the troll betrayal. (Chapter 89)

  • Mar'baht, the Armor of Nobility, is a Legendary leather armor copy Nada asks Sungjin to reserve rather than auction because she needs it for an upgrade. The request reflects her active management of her own build and resources. (Chapters 147, 149)

  • The Operator Cube distributes Nada's rewards, verifies troll status, handles Chosen One requests, and supports equipment transactions across dimensions. (Chapters 89–90, 108–109, 131, 136, 149, 164, 173, 180)
