Mustafa

Mustafa is a reserved Middle Eastern magician who fought in humanity's final group during the failed timeline and later joins the Chosen Ones. His healing, anti-magic defense, meditation, and concern for his large family make him one of the comrades Sungjin most wants to find again. Appearance

Mustafa is a very thin Middle Eastern man with a long mustache. When Sungjin encounters him in the current timeline, he wears a white robe and carries a staff whose head is shaped like a snake. The clothing and staff differ from the failed timeline, but his build, facial hair, reserved manner, and accomplished magic let Sungjin and Nada identify him confidently. (Chapters 173–174)

Personality

Mustafa is quiet, disciplined, and practical. In the final party he reads or meditates while others argue, requests recovery time when his mana is exhausted, and changes a protection assignment when exposed attackers need it more than the planned targets. He does not seek confrontation with Illich, but calmly defends the judgment that preserved Sungjin and Shunsuke from magical fire. (Chapters 117 and 167)

His reserve comes with strong social and spiritual commitments. Mustafa is cautious when an unfamiliar Hunter approaches in the jungle, yet quickly considers Sungjin's proposal in terms of humanity's survival and a possible divine purpose rather than personal attribute gains. Biography

Magician of the final ten

In the failed timeline, Mustafa reaches the Demon King's Castle as one of humanity's final ten. He occupies the rear formation beside Shunsuke and serves as one of the group's main protective magicians. When several skeleton mages cast Inferno, Mustafa raises an Anti-Magic Shield around exposed attackers instead of rigidly protecting the tank assigned to him, prompting criticism from Illich but preventing Sungjin and Shunsuke from being burned. (Chapter 117)

Ever Dream later shows more of his support role. Mustafa heals Sungjin's torn abdomen, asks the party to stop when his mana is depleted, and activates Meditation, which also helps other magic users recover. During Edward's betrayal, he begins changing from a healing incantation after Hildebrandt dies, but the loss of both front-line defenders leaves him exposed; the Demon King reaches and kills him before he can complete another spell. Sungjin remembers not only Mustafa's final-ten skill but the responsibility that drove it. Nada finds the real Mustafa in her Bakash Jungle party and contacts Sungjin after recognizing the description. Mustafa has already become influential enough that unfamiliar teammates look to him for direction. He initially rejects Sungjin's sudden handshake and asks whether the famous Master Hunter has arrived because of a troll, but testimony from another Hunter reduces his suspicion and opens a private conversation. Sungjin offers a place among ten elite survivors and mentions the Chosen title's attribute benefit, but Mustafa focuses on the prediction that only ten people may remain. After reflecting on elites and God's will, he asks what is required to become a teammate.
