Lenin

Lenin is the magician who burns the town around the Ivory Tower and serves as its principal raid boss. A former protector consumed by rejection and jealousy, he turns to taboo experiments that fuse living species. Sungjin first beheads him in the tower, then uses his marked corpse in the ritual that creates the Terrible Chimera, where Lenin returns as the fusion's speaking human component. (Chapters 80–85)

Appearance

Lenin first appears as a flying magician carrying a long staff tipped with three living dog heads. After the hidden-boss ritual, his human torso grows from a fused lion body that also bears a goat head and snake tail. (Chapters 80–81, 84–85)

Personality

Lenin is grandiose, paranoid, and consumed by his teacher's rejection. He rants that Orkin feared his genius, interprets Sungjin as an assassin sent by an enemy, and attacks without negotiation. His former friend remembers an earlier period when Lenin protected the town and was respected, making his later violence a collapse rooted in obsession rather than his only known identity. Biography

The Ivory Tower betrayal

Lenin once protected the town assigned to him, but changed after Orkin of the Blue Ocean chose an unknown child rather than Lenin as a disciple. Unable to overcome the rejection, he embraces taboo fusion magic, defeats the friend who tries to stop him, and experiments on animals and human victims throughout the tower. By the raid, he is burning the town, ranting about surpassing his teacher, and treating every approach as part of a conspiracy against him. (Chapters 80–84)

Sungjin's first assassination attempt fails because Lenin's three-headed staff detects him. Lenin uses invisibility, Blink, living blades, elemental attacks, poison, and flight to prolong the battle until Soldamyr and Cain help cover his escape points. Sungjin reflects Frostbite and beheads him, but later discovers a fusion mark hidden on Lenin's tongue. Placed with the marked lion, goat, and snake remains, his corpse becomes the speaking magical component of the Terrible Chimera. (Chapters 81–85)

As part of the Chimera, Lenin coordinates lightning, Fireball, healing, and flight with the other bodies while recognizing Sungjin as his prior killer. Ghastly Wail breaks his final incantation and makes him beg for mercy, but the lion body retreats in fear and throws the entire fusion from the tower. The fall kills Lenin a second time and ends the forbidden creation he had prepared. (Chapters 84–85)

Relationships

• Sungjin: Sungjin defeats Lenin twice: first by trapping the endpoint of Blink with Soldamyr and Cain, then by fighting his human component inside the Terrible Chimera. (Chapters 81–85)
• Soldamyr: Soldamyr counters Lenin's invisibility, fire, poison, and spatial escape while identifying the magical logic of the tower. His intervention turns Lenin's evasive duel into a coordinated trap. (Chapters 81–82)
• Orkin of the Blue Ocean: Orkin is the teacher whose choice of another disciple becomes the focus of Lenin's jealousy. The source provides this history through the Magic Hat and does not show Orkin directly. (Chapter 83)

Skills and abilities

Blink and invisibility. Lenin can vanish from sight and relocate instantaneously within the tower. Blink cannot be canceled mid-transfer or repeated immediately, letting multiple attackers pressure likely endpoints and catch him during the gap. (Chapter 81)

Broad spellcasting. Lenin uses Fireball, Frostbite, Orb of Ice, Killing Cloud, Living Edge, Flight, Heal, lightning, and other effects across several schools. His casting is flexible but vulnerable to disrupted incantations, reflected magic, area counters, and coordinated pressure. (Chapters 81, 84–85)

Forbidden fusion. Lenin marks a lion, goat, snake, and human body for placement on an inverted pentagram, creating a coordinated Chimera in which physical and magical components protect one another. The ritual requires all marked remains, including Lenin's own corpse, and the resulting body's conflicting fear response contributes to its fatal fall. (Chapters 82–85)

Equipment

• Cerberos, Gatekeeper of Hell: Lenin's long staff has three living dog heads that smell an invisible intruder, bite at nearby opponents, and warn him of attack. Cain knocks the heads aside and disarms Lenin during the boss fight. (Chapter 81)
