Jamar
Jamar is a dual-scimitar Hunter assigned to the Tahrakhan Plateau party. He provides fast close-range offense and enough wind magic to rescue the party's tank from a harpy, but mounting frustration makes him openly hostile toward weaker teammates. After Laliha's defeat, Sungjin's displayed power deters whatever action Jamar may have been considering. (Chapters 56–60)
Appearance
Jamar is a slightly tall man described as Arabian in appearance. He carries two scimitars at his sides and bears the Pirate title. The narration speculates about a possible background in a Middle Eastern conflict zone or piracy, but his exact nationality and former occupation are never confirmed. (Chapters 56 and 58)
Personality
Jamar is suspicious, combative, and willing to voice resentment directly. He warns the party against backstabbing even as Sungjin finds the warning itself unsettling, and later blames Mustafa for the group's difficulty. He still performs a genuine rescue and follows the formation through the boss battle, so the supplied chapters show hostility and possible opportunism without confirming an actual troll attack. (Chapters 56–60)
Biography
Tahrakhan Plateau
Jamar introduces himself as a fighter who wields two scimitars and joins Weiden Peller, Shigetoki, Mustafa, and the disguised Sungjin. When Sungjin departs, the remaining Hunters struggle through mountain goats and harpies. A harpy lifts Weiden from the ground, and Jamar uses Wind Cutter to damage its wing, bringing both creature and tank down so the party can finish the enemy. (Chapters 56–57)
The rescue does not produce lasting trust. The injured party becomes guarded, Jamar criticizes Mustafa as the reason they may fail, and Weiden intervenes before the dispute grows. Sungjin returns and carries the party through Laliha's attack. After the boss falls, Jamar tenses when Weiden and Shigetoki nearly fight and appears to watch for an opportunity, but Sungjin's warning prevents any overt move. His intent beyond that observed hesitation remains unconfirmed. (Chapters 58–60)
Relationships
- Weiden Peller: Jamar saves Weiden from a harpy with Wind Cutter, though the fall leaves the tank injured and resentful. Their functional cooperation continues, but Weiden later considers Jamar skilled and untrustworthy. (Chapters 57–58)
- Mustafa: Jamar directs the party's accumulated frustration toward Mustafa, blaming the weaker Treasure Hunter for their inability to reach the boss efficiently. Weiden stops the argument from becoming more dangerous. (Chapter 59)
- Sungjin: Jamar begins wary of Sungjin's Adjudicator title and later sees the concealed swordsman defeat Laliha with overwhelming force. That demonstration is enough to make Jamar look away and refrain from acting when the party nearly fractures after the raid. (Chapters 56 and 59–60)
Skills and abilities
Dual-scimitar combat. Jamar fights with a blade in each hand, supplying fast close-range attacks once Weiden stops an enemy's charge. The corpus identifies him as reasonably skilled but does not provide a named scimitar technique or detailed account of his training. (Chapters 56–60)
Wind Cutter. Jamar can cast a wind spell that releases formless cutting blades. He uses it at range to injure a harpy's wing and force the creature to drop Weiden. The spell creates an opening rather than killing the monster outright, and the falling tank is still injured on landing. (Chapter 57)
Equipment
- Dual scimitars: Jamar carries two curved swords and uses them as his primary close-range weapons. Their names and grades are not stated. (Chapters 56–60)
