Thousand-Eyed Water Droplet

The Thousand-Eyed Water Droplet is a supreme artifact left by the Thousand-Eyed Existence and one of the two treasures that permit entry into the Snake Tooth Corridor. Its internal thousand-eyed world is also an exceptional object of soul-path contemplation, making it valuable even to Xue Ying before he can safely use it as a corridor key. History

Discovery and a contested bargain

Xue Ying obtains the droplet on Black Leaf Lake, where soul suppression rather than other environmental hazards creates the unusual opportunity. Supreme Shi Fa and Great Emperor North River both desire it, and Shi Fa offers a trade while questioning whether a non-final-realm cultivator can benefit from the corridor. Xue Ying negotiates to study the droplet for one trillion years before passing it to North River, offering to leave the carrying avatar in the emperor's custody and swear an oath. (Chapters 1247–1249 and 1260)

North River does not wait. He kills Xue Ying's avatars and takes the droplet, arguing later that he merely collected early what the bargain would eventually give him. The theft provokes condemnation and establishes how far Great Emperors will go for a supreme artifact. Xue Ying seeks another droplet from the five Great Supremes, offering to study it without consuming its energy, but none admits to possessing one. (Chapters 1250–1251 and 1261–1267)

Return through necessity

North River retains the droplet after being driven from the Broken Tooth Mountain Range, likely with some energy still unused. In a later world where he needs food and the droplet no longer helps his cultivation, he approaches Xue Ying and offers to sell it. Xue Ying acquires access again, but even possessing it does not automatically complete his next Mirage and Illusory Realm killing technique. (Chapters 1336 and 1356–1359)

The final item evidence says that the droplet is stolen from Xue Ying for the sake of entering the Snake Tooth Corridor, but the excerpt does not identify the thief or show the surrounding transfer. Its final custodian and remaining energy are therefore unknown. (Chapter 1379)

Abilities and properties

• Snake Tooth Corridor access: Like a Snake-Tooth Bead, the droplet protects a bearer through the otherwise unsurvivable entrance and exit. It activates only within the corridor under a rule attributed to Yuan. (Chapters 1262 and 1267)
• Finite defensive energy: The paired corridor artifacts provide protective energy rather than offense, and their reserves are consumed by environmental dangers. The droplet's exact capacity and remaining reserve are not preserved in this brief. (Chapters 1262, 1267, and 1336)
• Thousand-eyed inner world: Its internal structure manifests a vast thousand-eyed world that Xue Ying studies for insight into the soul's “Resplendent” and “Slaughter” aspects. Recollection of it contributes to his attempt to fuse killing techniques. (Chapters 1249, 1260, and 1296)
• Cultivation aid, not guarantee: Xue Ying hopes the droplet will help create a higher killing technique and deepen his Dao, yet later evidence states that even after reacquiring it he still cannot produce the fourth technique. (Chapters 1260 and 1359)
• Chaotic Origin provenance: It is left by the Thousand-Eyed Existence, one of the beings whose corpse became the Broken Tooth Mountain Range, and is valued above ordinary low-grade Chaotic Origin corpses. (Chapter 1336)
