The Death Walker is a half–Chaotic Origin combat body refined by the Undying Underworld Emperor from a complete low-grade Chaotic Origin corpse, rare materials, final-realm Resentment Spirits, and mass sacrificial energy. It is his strongest creation and the means by which he once survived a failed expedition, but his attempt to make another is disrupted. (Chapters 1189–1195, 1239–1255, and 1289)

History

The first successful refinement

After competing with experts from other Origin Worlds, the Undying Underworld Emperor gradually develops and perfects the Death Walker refinement method. He succeeds once and becomes famous, then uses the completed body to resist a great enemy after losing a gamble. Sacrificing the Death Walker lets him escape and return alive to the Realm Heart Great Land, leaving him without the weapon afterward. (Chapters 1189, 1190, 1239, and 1255)

Fifteen nations and a failed ritual

To create another, he assembles three final-realm Resentment Spirits, Origin Blood, a Sacred Fire Stone, Devouring Realm Spiritual Liquid, and a complete Chaotic Origin corpse. He still needs sacrificial energy, planning to burn the spirits as a lure and sacrifice the population of fifteen nations to ignite spirituality in the revived corpse. He estimates twelve days for completion, after which he expects to refine the awakened spirituality into obedience. Xue Ying disrupts the sacrifices, so the complete Death Walker is never produced. An incomplete alternative

Without permission to sacrifice enough souls, the emperor later plans an incomplete Death Walker. His prior experience makes the reduced refinement plausible, and experiments shorten his estimate from one trillion to one hundred billion years. The incomplete form should contend with Great Emperors, below a complete body's Supreme-comparable power. The brief never confirms that this later project finishes. (Chapters 1254–1255)

Abilities and properties

  • Corpse foundation: The principal substrate is a complete low-grade Chaotic Origin lifeform corpse, refined into a half–Chaotic Origin entity rather than resurrected as its former self. (Chapters 1189, 1195, and 1289)
  • Spiritual ignition: Final-realm Resentment Spirits, mass souls, and other rare materials supply or ignite a new spirituality that the emperor can refine and control. The method's exact inscriptions and control safeguards are not preserved. (Chapters 1189–1190)
  • Complete-body power: A successful Death Walker has a half–Chaotic Origin Lifeform Body, can fight a lowest-level genuine Chaotic Origin lifeform, and is compared with the five Great Supremes. (Chapters 1195, 1219, and 1254)
  • Incomplete-body power: The projected reduced version should be able to compete with Great Emperors, but this remains the creator's estimate because completion is not shown. (Chapter 1254)
  • Strategic purpose and limit: The body is meant to protect its creator deep in the Broken Tooth Mountain Range and contest opportunities there. It can be sacrificed to cover an escape, making survival possible at the cost of the asset itself. (Chapters 1189, 1192, 1195, and 1240–1243)
  • Refinement vulnerability: The complete process depends on enormous external supplies and uninterrupted sacrifice; destroying that supply prevents the item from coming into existence. (Chapters 1190–1194 and 1239–1240)
