Battleship D9

Battleship D9 is a kilometer-long, dark-colored mobile fortress treasured by the Xia Clan. It provides rapid transport, wide-area sealing, shelter, and costly ranged attacks, but its many arrays cannot be fully used without a sufficiently accomplished operator. (Chapters 253, 288–290, and 365)

History

Assault on the Demonic Faction headquarters

The Xia Clan brings Battleship D9 to the Demonic Faction headquarters, where its sealing effect closes a region roughly 5,000 kilometers across. The seal blocks escape strongly enough that the enemy recognizes the headquarters as doomed once the ship and the Xia Demigods arrive. Xue Ying uses the vessel as a secure return point after capturing the bronze coffin, and the ship later carries the force through the void to the Infernal World before Palace Head Chen stores it. (Chapters 253–266)

Black White Deity Mountain and the western desert

The ship later hovers 4,000 kilometers from Black White Deity Mountain and takes most of the summoned Demigods aboard within two breaths. It fires a fast lightning-serpent attack at Lord You Lan, but the first plan fails and a later strike is described as carrying a hefty price. By Chapter 365, Chao Qing steers it at high speed toward a western desert; his Deity energy makes him a better operator than the Demigods, although even he can access only part of its total power. The post-Chapter-238 source is fragmentary, so the surviving passages do not show the battleship's construction, original acquisition, complete campaign history, or final fate. Its last confirmed state is active under Xia Clan control. (Chapter 365)

Abilities and properties

• Mobility and capacity: Battleship D9 can tear through space, cross the void into the Infernal World, travel at high speed, and rapidly embark a large Demigod force. (Chapters 259, 266, 288, and 365)
• Regional seal: Its sealing field spans about 5,000 kilometers and prevents an already surrounded enemy from escaping normally. The text does not state its setup time or how a stronger opponent could break it. (Chapters 253 and 255)
• Lightning-serpent attack: The ship can launch a fast ranged assault, but the attack has unspecified weaknesses, can miss an agile target, and is costly enough that the Xia Clan hesitates before firing again. (Chapters 290 and 300)
• Operator-dependent arrays: A newly ascended Deity can control the grade-D9 ship alone, yet cannot fully use all its arrays and functions without higher comprehension. Higher-grade ships would require hundreds of peak-stage Deities or a legion, establishing that D9 is comparatively manageable rather than effortless. (Chapter 365)
