Xu Qin
Xu Qin is the Infernal Palace-trained mortal housekeeper assigned to Dong Bo Xue Ying's mansion after he becomes a Transcendent. She manages its servants and introduces him to the residence's facilities.
Biography
Service at the Transcendent mansion
Xu Qin greets Xue Ying as his housekeeper and conducts him through the guards' quarters, maidservants' residence, welcoming hall, and cultivation ground. She lives close enough to receive orders and oversees a staff far larger and more formally trained than the household at Snowrock Castle. When Xue Ying permits most of the staff to watch an important match, he entrusts her with keeping only the people necessary to care for the mansion. (Chapters 105–110)
She joyfully welcomes him home in Chapter 129, but later recognizes his bad mood and approaches carefully with the other servants. Her final recorded action is a respectful acknowledgment of another order. The supplied chapters do not give her an independent plot or later fate. (Chapters 129, 137, and 162)
Appearance and personality
Xu Qin is a beautiful woman who wears white robes and speaks in a gentle voice. She is respectful, obedient, and thoroughly trained by Infernal Palace, while her caution around a displeased Xue Ying reflects the immense status difference between a mortal servant and a Transcendent master. (Chapters 105, 129, 137, and 162)
Abilities and cultivation
Xu Qin is explicitly a mortal, and the corpus assigns her no cultivation art or combat ability. Her demonstrated competence is household administration: she knows the mansion's layout, coordinates guards and maidservants, remains available for orders, and can adjust staffing when the master releases servants to attend an event. No supernatural mechanics or later advancement should be inferred from her Infernal Palace training. (Chapters 105, 110, and 137)
Relationships
- Dong Bo Xue Ying: Xu Qin serves as his mansion housekeeper, introduces the estate, receives staffing instructions, and greets him on his returns. (Chapters 105, 110, 129, 137, and 162)
- Dong Bo Qing Shi: Xu Qin belongs to the household surrounding Xue Ying's family, but the scoped evidence does not establish a close direct relationship with Qing Shi. (Chapters 105–162)
