Western Floating Old Ancestor

Western Floating Old Ancestor is the highest-ranking king of Western Floating Nation and the protector around whom many of its notorious devils shelter. His influence rests less on overwhelming offense than on exceptional survival and the inability of neighboring powers to eradicate him.

Biography

Protection of Western Floating Nation

The Old Ancestor rules a nation described as a gathering place for devils, repeatedly opposes Myriad Realms Ancient Nation, and sometimes sends subordinates to create disasters in the other ancient nations. Repeated punitive expeditions kill many of his followers but fail to eliminate him. He also frustrates intelligence gathering by sheltering Devil Monarch Wind Moon, making assassination targets in his territory unusually difficult to locate. (Chapters 1116–1117)

During the Realm Heart God Palace quota conflict, he teleports to Broken Sky Paragon Master's side and proposes eliminating Dong Bo Xue Ying. The group fails to kill anyone, and Xue Ying later succeeds in killing Wind Moon after stealth, allied help, and a slowing effect keep the Old Ancestor from intervening effectively. This exposes the boundary of his protection: he is very difficult to finish, but cannot guarantee the safety of those under his cover. (Chapters 1119–1122)

Appearance and personality

The supplied evidence gives no stable physical description. Western Floating Old Ancestor is characterized as arrogant, aggressive toward neighboring nations, and unconcerned by losses among ordinary followers. At the same time, his sheltering of powerful devils is pragmatic: concentrating too many of them in one hiding place would invite stronger experts to capture them together. (Chapters 1116–1117 and 1122)

Abilities and cultivation

His personal strength is assessed as only barely reaching the level-three Cosmos God standard, yet his survival methods exceed what level-two Cosmos Gods should possess. Public opinion therefore attributes his endurance to a top-grade survival-oriented secret treasure, though the corpus presents that ownership as an inference rather than a confirmed explanation. He can teleport across the battlefield and rapidly form a new body after one body dies. (Chapters 1119 and 1122)

He can carry a concealed treasure in which another cultivator hides, helping obscure that person's location. These defenses do not make him an unbeatable attacker: opposing forces slow him, his group fails to secure a kill, and the text explicitly distinguishes his survival prowess from raw strength. (Chapters 1120 and 1122)

Relationships

  • Dong Bo Xue Ying: The Old Ancestor tries to organize Xue Ying's elimination, but is unable to stop him from killing a protected target. (Chapters 1119–1122)
  • Southern Cloud King: Southern Cloud intelligence attempts to locate targets protected in Western Floating territory and is temporarily defeated by the Old Ancestor's concealment arrangements. (Chapter 1116)
