Great Demonic God
Great Demonic God is the Dark Abyss power worshipped by the Xia Clan world's Demonic Faction. His entrenched religion makes him a useful partner for the Sorcerer God's invasion, while the pair's interest in Crimson Rock Mountain gives the campaign its material objective. Relevant Chapters 239–488 are mostly short fragments, so the invasion's continuous action and his final death cannot be fully reconstructed; the title is consistently tied to one being. (Chapters 178–238, 255–403, and 486–488)
Biography
Transcendence and the Xia Clan
Long before appearing directly, Great Demonic God sustains a mortal-world religion through a Devil's Well and an image potent enough to affect Xue Ying. Sorcerer God selects him as a partner because of these deep Xia Clan roots. They recruit oath-bound agents, conceal preparations in the Oceanic Forest world, and share the spiraling cost of a spatial passage meant to seize the world and exploit Crimson Rock Mountain. (Chapters 178, 238, 255, 361, 368, and 376–378)
Xue Ying defeats the invasion and destroys the spatial passage, after which Great Demonic God is eventually shown imprisoned by black shackles. Unable to replenish energy or use his domain, reserves, or weapon, he conserves life force and grows additional arms to defend against Xue Ying's world bodies. Xue Ying's new destructive secret skill finally inflicts accumulating wounds; Great Demonic God recognizes that defeat and death are imminent, but the surviving Chapter 488 fragment ends before the fatal strike. (Chapters 379–398, 403, and 486–488)
Appearance and personality
He manifests remotely as a gigantic illusory skull and, in prison, as a scaled being with scarlet-red eyes and multiple arms. His conduct combines pride, resentment, and calculation: he dislikes Sorcerer God's superior control of the plan, worries when the fortress fails, and hoards every strand of life force once imprisonment prevents recovery. (Chapters 255–256, 361, 376, and 486–488)
Abilities and cultivation
Great Demonic God is a Dark Abyss expert stronger than Sorcerer God in raw contemporary combat power, but the corpus still calls both minor figures compared with true overlords. His religious image exerts a terrifying spiritual effect, while his battle manifestation can cover an area in darkness. The fragments do not preserve the full domain mechanics or his exact World Deity stage. (Chapters 238, 256, 379, and 398)
In prison he can form six additional arms, bringing the demonstrated total to eight, and use bare hands to block attacks from nine world bodies while focusing on the blood-refined weapon that can hurt him. Black shackles confine him to roughly a dozen meters and suppress his domain and World Deity energy; without replenishment, healing consumes irreplaceable life force. Xue Ying's later destructive technique bypasses the earlier stalemate and leaves him on the verge of death. (Chapters 486 and 488)
Relationships
- Sorcerer God: Weaker but plan-controlling partner who supplies the invasion's material-world opportunity. Great Demonic God resents him yet continues because both expect Crimson Rock Mountain's rewards. (Chapters 255–256, 361, and 376–378)
- Dong Bo Xue Ying: Target of the invasion who destroys its passage and later defeats the imprisoned Great Demonic God with a newly developed secret skill. (Chapters 273, 379–397, and 486–488)
- Ancestor Black Wind: Earlier explorer whose gains from Crimson Rock Mountain illustrate the treasure motive driving the campaign; no direct meeting with Great Demonic God is preserved. (Chapter 279)
Items
- Devil's Well: The most important mortal-world object supporting his religion, placed in a secure Demonic Faction stronghold. No dedicated item page is assigned by the local manifest. (Chapter 238)
- Black shackles: Restrain the imprisoned Great Demonic God, suppress his domain and energy, remove access to a weapon, and limit his movement. The evidence does not identify their owner or proper name. (Chapter 488)
