Gong Liang Yuan

Gong Liang Yuan is a handsome new Saint-realm Transcendent who first guides Dong Bo Xue Ying through the Water Daoist Temple and later opposes him in a Life-and-Death match. The early-corpus evidence is intact and unambiguous, but ends immediately after the contest and provides no later career. (Chapters 100 and 115)

Biography

Transcendence and the Xia Clan

Gong Liang Yuan welcomes Xue Ying into the Transcendent institution and explains its practical systems: contribution, resources, weapons, and cultivation techniques. His role makes him an early bridge between Xue Ying's isolated advancement and the organized world of Xia Clan Transcendents. (Chapter 100)

He later serves as the Qi-avatar opponent in Xue Ying's fourth Life-and-Death match. Gong Liang Yuan enters intending to stop the younger fighter before later rounds become too dangerous, but the protective motive still requires him to fight seriously enough to test Xue Ying's defense. (Chapter 115)

His secret sword technique can form a realm of fifteen swords, although as a new Saint he ordinarily releases only five or six. He brings out a sixth sword, but the standard weapon supplied for the match limits the technique and Xue Ying wins; Gong Liang Yuan survives because the opponent is an avatar. (Chapter 115)

Appearance and personality

Gong Liang Yuan is described as handsome. His initial patience as a guide and his wish to halt Xue Ying for safety portray him as conscientious, while his willingness to reveal the sixth sword shows competitive seriousness rather than condescension. (Chapters 100 and 115)

He is a newly advanced Saint-realm Transcendent and a sword specialist. His secret technique's complete conception contains fifteen swords, but his current realm supports roughly five or six, and an ordinary supplied sword further restricts the display.
