Xue Ying entered High Mountain City as Azure Cloud because anonymity gave him room to recover and cultivate. The name initially suggested a God Monarch backed by an unknown God Emperor, but he later exposed enough strength to kill God Emperor Bu Ya through an illusory-realm attack and then departed through a void crack, secure in the knowledge that even this revealed identity was false. He subsequently approached Iron Dragon City Master under the upgraded address “God Emperor Azure Cloud,” seeking a Dao of Void Chaotic Origin lifeform corpse. Iron Dragon Hall's investigation assessed the persona as a Late Stage God Emperor, while observers still suspected that Azure Cloud concealed another identity. Azure Cloud's presentation was deliberately changeable: he appeared as a black-robed young man during the confrontation with Bu Ya, but later visited Iron Dragon Hall as a white-robed man carrying a divine sword. His calm, pitying look before Bu Ya attacked reflected confidence rather than the fear expected from the seemingly weaker identity.
