Fan Yi Qian

Fan Yi Qian is one of the Fan Clan's three selected core disciples, a close-range specialist whose Yuan-derived Thunder Lineage scripture grants extreme physical power. His confidence survived a hard-won victory over King Sauron, but a soundless defeat by Dong Bo Xue Ying exposed the soul as the weakness behind his formidable body. (Chapters 1076–1078)

Biography

Fan Clan selection

Fan Yi Qian's naturally confrontational personality led him to barge into King Sauron's courtyard and demand a fight. Sauron's sound waves made close combat difficult, so Yi Qian invoked the only forbidden technique he had mastered and flooded the courtyard with overwhelming force until Sauron conceded. Emboldened, he challenged Xue Ying next, only to be caught instantly by the combined beguiling sound and internal illusory realm of the Devil Heart Bell. He emerged dazed, admitted the loss wholeheartedly, and thereafter treated Xue Ying's superiority as settled. During the formal competition, Yi Qian again activated his forbidden power and attacked with tremendous speed, but General Xuan's restraining violet radiance progressively weakened him until a hammer blow expelled him from the platform. He nevertheless crossed the first wave with the other chosen Fan disciples and remained with the delegation afterward. (Chapters 1077–1089)

Appearance and personality

Fan Yi Qian is a thin man in green armor. He is boisterous, aggressive, and quick to challenge people he instinctively dislikes, yet he can recognize a decisive defeat: after Xue Ying overcame him without an exchange of visible blows, he abandoned further posturing and admitted that the Fan disciples were not a match. (Chapters 1077–1078 and 1083)

Abilities and cultivation

Fan Yi Qian cultivates a Thunder Lineage absolute art left by Yuan, accessible because he resonated with its scripture. Its normal operation emphasizes extreme strength, speed, and close-range pole attacks; thunder envelops his body and weapon, letting him unleash hundreds of heavy strikes in moments. The scripture contains three forbidden techniques, but he had mastered only the first. That release greatly amplifies his power and can sweep an area so an evasive opponent has nowhere to run, while the remaining two were said to threaten the soul but were not available to him. His own soul defense is poor: Xue Ying's illusory realm disabled him instantly, and General Xuan showed that sustained restriction could make his body sluggish and drain his usable strength. (Chapters 1077–1078 and 1084)
