City Lord Bu

City Lord Bu is the Demigod leader of Cloud Mist City and one of the senior Xia Clan figures who assess young Transcendents and direct the war against demons. Her competitive skepticism toward Xue Ying changes as his Battle of Life and Death performance exceeds every prediction.

Biography

Assessment and wartime command

City Lord Bu begins the Battle of Life and Death expecting talent to fade before it becomes lasting strength. She predicts that Xue Ying will win only a few matches, then repeatedly raises that estimate as he reveals deeper spear comprehension. Surprise becomes genuine interest when he reaches contests no observer present has seen before. Her changing judgment is evidence-responsive rather than an instant reversal: each new technique forces her to revise the ceiling she had assigned him. (Chapters 111–125)

During the demon war, Bu helps brief the six Transcendent avatars sent into minor worlds. She stresses that no Demigod can rescue them after entry, orders them to break the arrays before using their strongest resources, and voices fury at the historical expectation that most may die despite every precaution. Later fragments place her among leaders searching for an answer to Lord You Lan, watching the Great Demonic God's intervention, and grieving Chi Qiu Bai's death. Appearance and personality

City Lord Bu wears white and is described as an exceptionally beautiful woman with sword-like eyebrows and a heroic aura. She is competitive, aggressive, and sharp-tongued, yet her wartime anger is directed at the inability to protect younger cultivators. The combination makes her skeptical of unproven promise but deeply invested in the Xia Clan's survival. (Chapters 111–125 and 195)

Abilities and cultivation

Bu is a ranked Demigod and leader of one of the six great Transcendent organizations. She can closely read spear exchanges and coordinate Demigod weapons, scrolls, avatars, and teams at a strategic level.
