Biography

Life in Klein's Era

Riana welcomed Dwayne Dantès into her family’s social circle through teas, dinners, and neighborhood calls, supporting Macht’s public position and Hazel’s entry into high society. Her life is structured around conventional hospitality and concern for her daughter rather than direct involvement in mysticism. (Chapters 753–798)

Amon later Parasitized Riana, Macht, and other household members while targeting Hazel. During the operation that removed the avatars, Riana temporarily appeared as one of several identical monocled Amons; once the parasites were expelled, she retained only a hazy gap in memory and shared Hazel’s unease without understanding its source. She resumed ordinary family and social life, later hosting Dwayne again as Hazel recovered. (Chapters 1005–1008 and 1057)

Appearance and personality

Riana is an elegant noblewoman seen in fashionable dresses, including shoulder-baring evening wear. She is sociable, attentive to the duties of a hostess, affectionate toward Hazel, and easily alarmed when her daughter appears ill or distressed. (Chapters 753–798 and 1007)

Pathways and abilities

Riana is an ordinary human and shows no personal Beyonder ability. The monocle, duplicated appearance, and parasitic behavior belong to Amon’s avatar; surviving that possession does not establish a pathway for her. (Chapters 1005–1008)
