Ouroboros

Biography

Encounters Across Both Eras

Ouroboros was one of the ancient Kings of Angels and a participant in Rose Redemption. After the True Creator's emergence, he remained a devoted follower, leading believers across a parted sea into the Forsaken Land of the Gods and leaving temples and murals along the pilgrimage route. His cycles of reboot and rebirth repeatedly brought him back beside the True Creator, while his long rivalry with Will Auceptin centered on the incomplete authority of the Fate pathway (Chapters 389, 650–681, 1117–1183).

Ouroboros often influenced events without entering the visible scene. He covertly helped Lumian exchange the fate of the Tree of Shadow's burning roots, a specialized intervention that exceeded the corresponding feat Amon could perform through Inevitability powers. Near the apocalypse he appeared openly beside Will: Will held the Fate Uniqueness and one Snake of Mercury characteristic, while Ouroboros held the other two Sequence 1 characteristics. He remained an Angel of Fate of the Aurora Order rather than becoming the pathway's true god (Chapters 2309, 2592).

Appearance and personality

Ouroboros appears as a soft-featured, elegant young man in a simple linen robe, with long silver hair. His expression is serene and indifferent, matching an existence for whom lives and eras recur in cycles. Murals, preserved scenes, and measured interventions characterize him more strongly than ordinary conversation; he is patient, devout toward the True Creator, and willing to wait across generations for the movement of fate (Chapters 650, 1117, 2592).

Pathways and abilities

Ouroboros is a Sequence 1 Snake of Mercury and King of Angels who possesses two Sequence 1 characteristics but not the Fate Uniqueness. He can manipulate probability and fate, create or preserve repeating cycles, reboot his own life, identify decisive strands of destiny, and exchange or redirect outcomes. His powers are exceptionally broad but not absolute: Will's possession of the Uniqueness prevents Ouroboros from completing the pathway, and comparable high-level authorities can break or counter fate loops (Chapters 650, 924, 1117–1121, 2309, 2592).
