Jasmine

Jasmine was the public identity of Palia, a Mirror Person and mineralogist connected to the Trier Cave Association. After Moran Avigny's death, she handled the Mirror People's local communications and appears to have been rebuilding their network in Trier. (Chapters 2221 and 2254)

Biography

Encounters Across Both Eras

An ordinary young woman named Jasmine appears much earlier in Limon City, where Klein Moretti, as Merlin Hermes, healed her wartime burns through the Fully Automatic Wishing Machine. Nothing connects that Jasmine—whose story ends after her three wishes and a police interview—to the later mineralogist, so the shared name is treated as a homonym rather than a cross-era identity. (Chapters 1312–1315)

The later Jasmine disappeared before Purifiers could investigate the Trier Cave Association's ore scholars and was subsequently sighted in Underground Trier, where she was suspected to be Palia. Griffith confirmed that Palia received instructions from the sealed Mirror People leader and contacted other agents one-way through the mirror world, making Jasmine the network's operational intermediary. (Chapters 2221 and 2254)

Franca Roland and Anthony Reid traced Jasmine's repeated underground appearances and found that Harrison had been seen nearby on both occasions. The pattern connected her activity to Harrison and possibly Project Vortex, but she remained uncaptured and her precise objective was still under investigation. (Chapters 2277–2280 and 2292)

Appearance and personality

Jasmine's appearance is not directly described in the available scenes; she is identified occupationally as a mineralogist or ore scholar. Her compartmentalized, one-way contact procedures indicate strong operational caution, but the corpus does not provide enough direct dialogue to establish a fuller personality. (Chapters 2221 and 2254)

Pathways and abilities

As Palia, Jasmine was a Mirror Person capable of using the mirror world for contact and movement. Her original pathway, Sequence, combat techniques, and whether she had consumed any potion are not stated, so abilities demonstrated by other Mirror People cannot automatically be assigned to her. (Chapter 2254)

Relationships

Jasmine served the sealed leader of the Mirror People and managed contact with agents such as Griffith after Moran Avigny's death. Her repeated proximity to Harrison led Franca and Lumian to infer collaboration, though the exact terms of that relationship remained unconfirmed. (Chapters 2254, 2280, and 2292)

Items

No personal weapon, potion, or named mystical item is attributed to Jasmine. Mirrors provide the medium for her one-way contacts, but no particular mirror is identified as her property. (Chapter 2254)
