Biography

Life in Klein's Era

Adol was the fifteen- or sixteen-year-old son of jewelry merchant Rogo Colloman. Fascination with death and immortality led him into Kapusky Reid's secret student society, where he joined grave robberies, helped obtain corpses, and participated in Spirit Dance experiments without understanding their danger. (Chapters 298–303)

One experiment left Adol haunted by a wraith, terrified, feverish, and unable to remember several days. His father hired Klein to protect him; after Klein lured out and destroyed the entity, Adol admitted the society's crimes and rejected returning to it, converting his earlier excitement into fear-informed caution. (Chapters 303–305)

Appearance and personality

Adol was an adolescent with dark-blue hair; while haunted, his face was pale, his lips bluish, and he shivered beneath fur and blankets. He was curious and thrill-seeking enough to enter dangerous occult practices, but the consequences left him frightened, remorseful, and willing to abandon them. (Chapters 298–305)

Pathways and abilities

Adol was not a Beyonder and displayed no supernatural ability of his own. His involvement in Spirit Dance rituals made him a victim and participant in occult events, but the wraith's effects should not be attributed to him as powers. (Chapters 298–305)

Relationships

Rogo Colloman sought professional help to save his son, while Kapusky Reid exploited students like Adol as participants in dangerous resurrection research. Klein freed Adol from the haunting, and Kaslana later helped guard the household. (Chapters 298–305)

Items

Adol used ordinary ritual materials through the student society and was wrapped in thick fur during his illness. No personal mystical item is established. (Chapters 298–305)
