Kaslana
Kaslana is a Backlund private detective who works with an assistant named Lydia and repeatedly crosses paths with Klein Moretti during his Sherlock Moriarty identity. (Chapters 299 and 305)
Biography
Life in Klein's Era
Kaslana was hired as one of Adol's bodyguards and accepted Klein's practical direction during the supernatural crisis around her client. Afterward, she joined the city's detective exchange, where she recognized Klein's judgment and requested the same investigative information he had supplied to their peers. (Chapters 299–306)
When Isengard Stanton's detective circle was drawn into a Desire Apostle's trap, Kaslana tried to halt the attacker and joined the group's defense. The Apostle's emotional influence left her gasping, blank-eyed, and unable to continue attacking, but she survived and remained with the detectives through the official response. (Chapters 413–422)
Appearance and personality
Kaslana wears a gray tweed coat and presents herself with the direct, alert manner of a working detective; her immediate demand for solutions and willingness to confront danger also show decisiveness, though the Desire Apostle demonstrated the limits of her composure under supernatural pressure. (Chapters 413–416)
Pathways and abilities
No Beyonder pathway is established for Kaslana. She has the observation, casework, and protective experience expected of a professional private detective, but she could not resist a Desire Apostle's high-level emotional manipulation. (Chapters 299, 305, and 414–416)
Relationships
Lydia is Kaslana's red-haired assistant and accompanies her on both protection and investigative work. Kaslana also cooperates with Klein Moretti, Isengard Stanton, Stuart, Ikanser Bernard, and the other detectives caught in the Desire Apostle case. (Chapters 299, 305, and 413–422)
Items
Kaslana has no individually named or persistent item in the supplied corpus; her equipment is ordinary professional gear rather than a documented mystical artifact. (Chapters 299–306 and 413–422)
