The Dragonbone Divine Spear is Sage Ran Qiu's legendary weapon. It alternates between a spear and a skeletal dragon, carries an ancient weapon spirit, and seeks a master capable of defeating it as Ran Qiu once did. (Chapters 1,598–1,600)

History

Ran Qiu's sleeping weapon

After serving Ran Qiu for life, the spear sleeps for tens of thousands of years in his legacy domain, sustained by a Golden Origin Spirit Stone. Zhang Xuan accepts its trial; when the weapon raises its strength beyond the agreed level, he suppresses its dragon nature with the Eight Notes of Heavenly Dragon and wins its acknowledgment. Even sealed to a fraction of its old power, it immediately doubles his combat effectiveness and suppresses coordinated Sempiternal attacks. (Chapters 1,598–1,601)

Unsealing and inheritance by Zheng Yang

Zhang carries the spear through later battles and removes its ancient seal with Dragon Tribe Ancient Sage blood, restoring much of its former authority. In Kunxu it learns that Ran Qiu is truly dead, ending its hope that its first master survives. Zhang then tempers it with the Azure's heavy spiritual energy until it reaches Dimension Shatterer realm and gives it to Zheng Yang, charging his spear-wielding student with defending mankind from descending deities. Abilities and properties

The artifact can transform between an ancient skeletal dragon and a spear, concentrate force into a single point, pierce spatial seals, and release attacks far above the apparent cultivation level it adopts. Its Dragon Tribe nature leaves it vulnerable to pure-blood dragon suppression. Once unsealed and raised to Dimension Shatterer realm, it is one of the strongest weapons remaining on the Master Teacher Continent. (Chapters 1,598–1,601, 1,680–1,797, 1,913)
