Shui Qianrou

Shui Qianrou is a disciple of sword master Jian Qinsheng and a member of the tier-one Shui Sage Clan. She initially explains Sage Clan conventions to Zhang Xuan, then witnesses him expose a flaw in her lineage's signature art. (Chapters 1,322–1,327)

Biography

Correcting the Flowing Water Swordsmanship

Shui Qianrou lends Zhang Xuan a strand of hair for his test and anxiously watches him seek acknowledgment from Jian Qinsheng's Sword Intent. Zhang not only succeeds but reaches the same Sword Quintessence as her teacher and reveals that the inherited Flowing Water Swordsmanship is flawed; after damaging the residence in the process, he gives Shui a corrected manual. His pointers increase Jian Qinsheng's regard for her, and she is later trusted with the residence's sword formation, which she threatens to activate when Luo Xuanqing causes trouble.
