Ming Laixiang
Ming Laixiang is the most feared of Twilight City's three leading city-lord contenders despite being the only low-tier Celestial God among them. Her whip technique and political judgment make her more dangerous than her cultivation alone suggests. (Chapters 2,137–2,140)
Biography
From contender to ally
Zhang Xuan deliberately challenges Ming first because her lower realm masks the strongest reputation. She attacks with a whip, then recognizes him as the creator of the Beauty Pill and tests the pill herself while answering his questions about Celestial God Yeyu. Convinced by Zhang's ability and prospects, Ming abandons the contest, submits to the new city lord, and helps consolidate his power; the other contenders later regret ignoring her judgment. (Chapters 2,137–2,144)
Appearance and personality
Ming is a young woman with a fearsome reputation and enough composure to reconsider a confrontation when new information appears. She is direct in combat, interested in the Beauty Pill's bodily transformation, and politically perceptive enough to align with a stronger leader early. (Chapters 2,137–2,144)
Abilities and cultivation
Ming is a low-tier Celestial God who fights with a whip and is considered more dangerous than two middle-tier rivals. The precise basis of that reputation is not fully detailed, but her speed, weapon skill, and judgment allow her to contend above her nominal realm. (Chapters 2,137–2,140)
