Lin Ruotian

Lin Ruotian is the head of Tianwu Kingdom's foremost clan and the father of Lin Long. His political protection and formation mastery allow him to pursue a violent feud until evidence of his crimes and Zhang Xuan's intervention break his position. (Chapters 353, 383–388)

Biography

The Lin Clan's failed retaliation

Lin Ruotian is implicated in poisoning the Gold-tailed Lion and later tries to destroy Zhang Xuan and Lu Chong when they confront the Lin Clan. He activates a one-use formation left by his daughter, but Zhang Xuan identifies its limitations and turns the engagement against him. After fleeing to seek protection, Lin Ruotian recounts the defeat, only for the wider confrontation to expose rather than restore his authority. (Chapters 353, 383–388, 405)

Appearance and personality

Lin Ruotian is an older, imposing clan patriarch whose composure collapses under defeat. He is vindictive, politically calculating, and willing to use poison and lethal formations; when overmatched, he retreats behind stronger allies. (Chapters 353, 383, 405)

Abilities and cultivation

Lin Ruotian is a Half-Zhizun cultivator and 3-star formation master who specializes in battle techniques. He can activate the Lin Clan's powerful defensive killing formation through its core, though he has only deciphered part of it and cannot reproduce it himself. (Chapters 383, 388)
